As previously reported, specialists of the State Institution “Uzbekistan Scientific-Testing and Quality Control Center” are taking part in a major forum held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which brings together the most prestigious certification bodies of the Asian region. The event, excellently organized by SIRIM QAS International — Malaysia’s testing and certification center — serves to strengthen regional cooperation within the IQNet global network.
The event was opened by the Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM QAS International, Ts. Md Adha Rahmat, who emphasized the importance of cross-border mutual recognition, transparency in conformity assessment processes, innovative approaches, and reinforcing quality infrastructure.
During the session, the representative of “Uztest” provided information on the development of Uzbekistan’s national quality infrastructure, processes harmonized with international certification requirements, as well as the capabilities of the organization’s scientific testing laboratories.
