A regional conference dedicated to the energy labeling system for electrical appliances was held in Tashkent, bringing together representatives from Central Asian countries and the European Union.
The main objective of the event was to facilitate the exchange of best practices between the EU and Central Asian states in the areas of energy labeling, enforcement mechanisms, and market surveillance.
Specialists from the Uzbek Scientific Testing and Quality Control Center (UzTest) also took part in the conference, sharing their experience in assessing energy efficiency, validating test results, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

As part of the conference program, participants attended a technical visit to an energy efficiency testing laboratory, where they were introduced to the laboratory’s equipment, testing instruments, and evaluation procedures.
